Services in Support of Successful Families
As a licensed child and family therapist in the State of Washington, and an Advanced Trainer in the Nurtured Heart Approach (NHA)™ I work with families to be in relationships which focus upon building inner wealth and the strengths of each person, rather than by focusing upon and energizing the negative. Through this process, children and families develop new ways of interacting with each other that allow them to go through their day to day life with clarity and success.
The services I provide in-person in the Methow Valley & via secure video conference within Washington State include:
Family Therapy
-Family therapy services for families with the desire to change.
Individual Therapy
- Individual therapy for children through age 18 who face a variety of challenges and diagnosis, including anxiety, ADHD, Behavioral challenges at home, with peers and at school, and who suffer from depression.
- Individual therapy for parents seeking help in parenting their child(ren) in more successful ways.
Couples Therapy
-Learn how the philosophy of the Nurtured Heart Approach can transform your relationship from the inside out and create the relationship you want with your partner.
Nurtured Heart Approach Parent Coaching
If you’d like to learn the NHA in a more private, personalized manner OR are looking to “notch up” your use of the approach in your home, coaching is perfect for you! I meet with you in your home to create individualized instruction of the NHA and “hands on” learning. Coaching can be contracted by the hour or purchased in packages.
5 week Parent Training on the Nurtured Heart Approach
Learn the concepts of the Nurtured Heart Approach over the course of 5 weeks, while implementing the Approach at home. This style of presentation allows for an enriched understanding of the Approach as well as a community environment through which learning can be shared and deepened.
School Trainings
-1 hour intro to Nurtured Heart Approach
- Options include weekly training sessions over a period of 5 weeks or a 6 hour training spread out over several weeks
